Summary, etc.: | In Texas during the 1870s, Buck Duane becomes an outlaw after killing a man in self defense and must live among gunfighters and rustlers along the Texas border. In a camp on the Mexican side of the river, he finds a young girl held prisoner. When he tries to rescue her, he suffers the wrath of her captors and is hunted by honest men and outlaws alike. But a big-hearted captain of rangers wins him a pardon and makes him a ranger, pledged to fight for the law. |
